About Me |
Hello I'm Lisa and I'm an Ofsted registered childminder. I live with my husband Matt, two children Zach (6) and Poppy (3) along with Dobby the dog, three chickens (Snowdrop, Fifi and Happy Mrs Chicken - I had help naming them) and some fish.
Before having my children I studied psychology at York university and then completed a Masters in Applied Behaviour Analysis at Bangor university. I have worked in various areas of psychology supporting educational psychologists and clinical psychologist working in special needs and mainstream schools and hospitals. Once having children I became a full time mum. Whilst taking my children to play groups I discovered that I preferred sitting on the floor playing with the children rather than sitting with other mums drinking tea. And in this lightbulb moment I decided to pursue childminding. |
